In the far future, All-Father Thor and his granddaughters are fighting what is most likely the last of the space sharks. There, they are met by Balder and Skurge. Thor immediately attacks him, but Loki manages to stave Thor off long enough to cast him to Niffleheim, but before he completely disappears, Thor grabs Loki and drags him along with him. Thor then flies to his new home on a boat in Newark, where his brother Loki is waiting for him. His mother Freyja is in one of the rooms caring for Volstagg, who is slowly recovering.
After visiting his father Odin, Thor flies back to Earth to the Bronx where Roz is organizing the relocation effort of the denizens of the Nine Realms that have been displaced by the War of the Realms. Thor then goes to see Heimdall who tells him that he is slowly recovering the pieces of the shattered Bifrost, but he no longer has his eyes so he cannot see anything. Returning to Asgard, Thor tells Screwbeard and Ud that not only will he need more hammers, they need to be made of better uru. After getting beaten on by the Juggernaut, Thor tells Screwbeard to send all the hammers that he and the dwarves have spent weeks forging, and manages to defeat the Disciples and Juggernaut and escape with the Eye. Unfortunately, the Eye landed in the Crimson Temple, a site dedicated to the worship of Cyttorak and his avatar, the Juggernaut. With the destruction of Asgardia, artifacts have been spread all across the universe. Thor, having regained his name, is in Thailand to recover an Asgardian artifact - The Warlock's Eye.
