We opened a safe home for a number of years called The House of Magdalene for girls trying to escape the life of human trafficking.Ĭharles, a former nightclub entertainer, passed away in 1982 and I continued as a single mom with two small children until Ron, my present husband, and I met and married in 1986. We came back to Hollywood in 1979 with two small children and a heart to reach out to so many who came with stars in their eyes to reach their dreams but whose lives had ended up in a hellish nightmare. Oasis of Hollywood was founded in 1971 by Charles & Judy McPheeters in Denver, CO. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today? Her book, Walk of Faith on the Walk of Fame, is a collection of testimonies along with Judy’s own story after numerous personal battles.

They speak regularly at churches all over the country. She has appeared on many radio and television talk shows, including Daystar, CBN, TBN, and Focus on the Family. Judy is licensed with the Assemblies of God.

Judy, a graduate from Christ For The Nations (1978), now serves as an Executive Presbyter for the Fellowship of Ministers & Churches.

They oversee a variety of programs including a Teen Drop-In Center, Kidz Klub programs in two public schools, special holiday outreaches, and the Urban School of Evangelism. She married Ron Radachy in 1986 and they co-direct the multi-faceted ministry. After Charles’ early homegoing in 1982, Judy, along with her two small children, continued on with the ministry, later to be called The Oasis of Hollywood. Judy and her late husband, Charles McPheeters, incorporated their ministry in 1971 in Denver, CO and moved to Hollywood in 1979.
